Sustainability can be fun if companies benefit from it
Non-compliance with social standards can attract intense public attention and lead to significant reputational damage. Working conditions throughout the entire value chain need to be systematically monitored and improved – at preliminary and direct suppliers, at the own sites and in sales.
Evaluation & Consulting
We evaluate the status quo of your company with regard to Social Compliance using quantitative and qualitative methods. On this basis we develop tailor-made, risk-appropriate approaches to the topic. We complete our evaluation by advising on certification systems (e.g. BSCI, EICC, SAI, SEDEX), industry initiatives (e.g. FLA, ETI) as well as Codes of Conduct.
Audits & Assessments
To assess working conditions is necessary to identify the various challenges in the supply chain. We have years of experience in setting up audit systems as well as in the coordination and implementation of assessments and audits, locally and globally. In addition, evaluate and improve existing monitoring systems.
Social Compliance is not only an issue in the supply or distribution chain, but needs to be anchored in a company’s processes. We set up databases for management and controlling and develop buying, incentive or controlling systems for procurement processes. We thereby create cross-departmental incentives to establish fair working conditions beyond corporate boundaries.
To change working conditions in the long run, the transfer of knowledge and training of management and staff is essential. We offer customised qualification programs to raise awareness for Social Compliance of own employees or business partners (e.g. suppliers) and to ensure successful implementation.
