HUMAN RIGHTS RISK ANALYSIS
Gain transparency about the human rights risks of your business

The German National Action Plan for the Implementation of the UN’s Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (NAP) defines five core elements of human rights diligence – one of the most important is human rights risk analysis. The NAP requires companies to identify the potentially negative impact of their business activities on human rights. In doing so, the entire value chain must be taken into account: Negative impacts can occur at one’s own sites, with direct business partners or in the indirect supply chain, but also in the use and disposal of products or services.
With the help of quantitative & qualitative analyses we prioritize the human rights risks of your business activities in a structured and fact-based manner:
Structuring the complex topic of human rights
We have a structured process for identifying and structuring the human rights issues relevant to your company for each stage in the value creation
Data-based risk analysis
Using a comprehensive set of risk indicators, we quantify the human rights risks in your value chain. Our indicators take into account industry- and country-specific risks
Prioritization of human rights issues
We help you to prioritize the human rights issues that potentially have the most serious impact on affected persons (so-called „salient issues“) based on facts and the corporate context. This approach is a key requirement of the UN Principles for Risk Analysis
Standardized process for the entire value chain
Our risk analysis covers the entire supply chain, at your own sites and in the context of product use and disposal. This provides you with a holistic risk analysis, with the potential for a targeted prioritization of the entire human rights challenges of your business activities
